Graduate Study

I currently have opportunities for graduate student projects in my lab at either PhD or Masters level.  Some possible topic areas include: 

• Dissolved organic matter and organic nitrogen cycling  

• Deep biosphere and crustal fluid biogeochemistry

• Cell wall tracers for microbial sources of  DON

• Amino acid isotopic tracers for metabolism source signatures.

•  Molecular-level ¹⁴C dating of specific amino acids
