CLIMATE CHANGE AND IMPACTS LABORATORY (CCIL) AND EARTH SYSTEM MODELING LABORATORY

Facilities include a Dell PowerEdge M1000e Blade Server with 16 PowerEdge M600 blades (2 quad core Xeon processors per blade), numerous high-performance workstations and servers, and multi-terabyte data storage and backup facilities. The computing resources are used for global and regional climate modeling effort and for data analyses.

The computational facilities are sponsored by the California Energy Commission, the National Science Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and UCSC.
