This class will be graded S/SU. Attendance in 4 of the 5 classes is required to pass. The grade is based on the following criteria:
Participation 40%
Final Presentation 40%
Quizzes and Homeworks 20%
Description
This class is a forum for discussing the responsibilities, methods, tips, and regulations for teaching assistants in the Earth and Planetary Sciences Dept, and UCSC as a whole. The nature of this class is meant to be different than most you'll take at UCSC. It emphasizes involvement and sharing of ideas in order to develop one's own teaching style.
