Club Information (Spring 2009)President: Reid Parsons Accounting Officer: Medical Officer: Practice: M/W 5:00-8 pm at the UCSC courts (#1-4). Club Dues: $10 Equipment: Eye guards are mandatory for safety issues, as are non-marking indoor court shoes. If you do not own a racquet or eyeguards, come anyway--we'll lend you some. Stringing: locally: John at Cabrillo Fitness Club (831-475-5979) Skill levels: We range in skill levels from beginners to tournament players. Sign up for John Bardos' racquetball class to get started, and come to club practice to improve your game! Waiver, Roster, Medical Form.(4/09) Tournament this weekend at our own UCSC courts on both Saturday and Sunday. Looking forward to the "surf and slam!" (2/09) Congrats on a 5th place finish at the UC Davis tournament - We just got edged out by Stanford by 39 points. But we had a great time, and special congratulations to our women competitors! (11/08) Our first tournament of the 2008-09 season at San Jose State University ended with a 4th place finish for Santa Cruz out of 12 schools participating. We edged out Davis by a mere 4 pts, and we were behind Stanford by only 11. (9/08) Welcome new and returning racquetball players to another season. I've been getting a lot of interest from new and transfer students about the club. (4/08) Congrats to everyone for a fantastic debut season! Placing first at Davis was particularly impressive. We came in 3rd overall in the West Coast Collegiate Racquetball Conference - well done! |
