tectonics, wave propagation, mantle dynamics, earthquake forecasting and hazard
mitigation.

T. Lay is author or co-author of 353 research publications
including 1 textbook, 1 monograph, 1 disciplinary book, 1 edited monograph, 236
publications in refereed books and professional journals, and 112 technical
reports, book reviews, news items and conference proceedings. In addition, he is author or co-author
on 338 published abstracts for meeting presentations, and he was content
consultant for a book on the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami
