- 5 page (minimum) description of story line, indicating how the Earth Science events/processes intersect/drive the story line
- Include synopsis and 3 sources that were due 4/20
- Bring 3
copies of everything above to your section this week (2 for peer reviewers, 1 for
your TA)

Screenplay drafts handed back; Lecture topics discussion/Q&A (time pending)
5/16 – 5/20 Written Screenplay Peer Reviews (15 pts): due in Section
- Edited copies of partnersŐ drafts (grammar/spelling/etc.)
- Paragraph (minimum) review/critique of each draft, addressing grading criteria given in class
- Bring 2 copies of each review to your section this week (1 for each draft author, 1 for your TA)
In-class peer review Discussions (5 pts): TAs will take attendance and listen in!

5/27 F Screenplay (65 pts) and Disaster Diary (58 pts): due in Lecture
- Total Screenplay grade (100 pts) is composed of:
o Synopsis/Sources (5 pts)
o Rough Draft (10 pts)
o Peer Reviews (15 pts) / Discussion (5 pts)
o Final Screenplay (65 pts)

- Each entry of your Disaster Diary should include:
o Date/type of event
o Article(s) about event
o Clear citation for article(s): author(s), article title, publication, date, URL, etc.
o Personal summary
- Total Disaster Diary grade (80 pts) composed of:
o Diary Entries 1 & 2 (6 pts EACH)
o Sources 1 & 2 (5 pts EACH)
o Remaining 8 Diary Entries (48 pts)
o Source #3 (10 pts)—Wikipedia does not count!!!
